The other day as I was doing research for a career paper I was ofcourse researching a pastor, even though I don't really want to be one its the closest thing I can think of as something I would like. As I was researching just the cold hard facts of each pastors job I ended up finding something more spiritually oriented and realized more fully that a ministers job includes so much more than visiting new church members and serving the poor but also having a heart for pray and prioritizing God first in all things and not money, popularity or anything else. I began reimaging what my future would look like according to what I was reminded of as my true values, which is an example of Political Imagination. What was interesting was that this page was written by a baptist minister. I normally do not pay to close of attention to baptist ministers since I often don't hear them preaching very interestingly spiritual things but this was a great example of how even though this minister was of a different group of people, He still had some very good things to say which he has acquired over the course of his years as a minister. It reminded me of the true benefits of diversity, and even though I don't fully know this as truth quite yet, I am learning more and more of the greatness of diversity, I only wish I knew more about it all. Sometimes I wish I knew everything. Thats an example of a dreamers imagination.
